Dousing firefighters with sewer water 'a mistake'

The district attorney's office filed an administrative lawsuit that accused Caltrans of violating the state's Safe Drinking Water Act. In order to continue operations of the city's wastewater plant, Caltrans will likely have to begin the required environmental impact analysis (EIA) on the proposed EIA by Nov. 20, 2017. A lawsuit to remove the sewer system and divert sewage into San Diego's public water district will be launched on Dec. 4, according to the district attorney's statement.
